Head Girls Volleyball Coach / Teacher at Crosby High School 

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head Girls Volleyball Coach to lead and grow our volleyball program. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the court, while fostering a strong, unified program built on collaboration, consistency, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the high school girls volleyball program.
  • Develop and implement a clear vision that emphasizes vertical alignment with the junior high program to ensure consistency in skills, terminology, and expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with junior high coaches to build a cohesive developmental pipeline for student-athletes.
  • Foster a positive, competitive, and inclusive team culture.
  • Plan and conduct effective practices focused on skill development, teamwork, and game strategy.
  • Coordinate offseason training and player development opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with players, parents, school staff, and administration.
  • Uphold and model high standards of sportsmanship and character.

Qualifications:

  • Prior head coaching experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, strategy, and player development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with other coaches and build strong professional relationships.
  • Commitment to program development at all levels (junior high through varsity).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in building or maintaining vertically aligned athletic programs.
  • Willingness to engage in offseason and summer program development.
  • Strong commitment to the academic and personal success of student-athletes.
