Position Summary
Provide instruction in Math, Science, or English while assisting with the track & field and volleyball programs. Support student-athlete development by promoting academic success, athletic performance, and character.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid Texas teaching certification (or ability to obtain) Math or Science
- Willingness to obtain CDL
- Knowledge of track & field and volleyball fundamentals
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Coaching experience preferred
Responsibilities
Teaching
- Deliver engaging instruction in assigned subject area (Math, Science, or English)
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a positive classroom environment and communicate with stakeholders
Coaching (Volleyball & Track and Field)
- Assist with practices, game preparation, and skill development
- Support in-game coaching and athlete supervision
- Promote academic accountability and character development
- Ensure compliance with UIL, district, and campus expectations
- Assist with offseason programs, camps, and community engagement
Additional Information
Teaching assignment and coaching stipends based on campus needs and experience. Evening, weekend, and travel required.
