Asst. Swim Coach

Mesquite ISD high school swim program is seeking a motivated and dependable Assistant Swim Coach to support the continued growth and development of our student-athletes. This role involves assisting with daily practices, supporting meet operations, helping build positive team culture, and contributing to the overall success of the program.

The ideal candidate is someone who is reliable, organized, and proactive, with a passion for working with student-athletes and developing swimmers both in and out of the water.

The assistant coach would assist the head coach over all 5 schools in the District. They all practice together at a new facility at The Eastfield College campus and 90% of the time compete together. 4 of the high schools are 5A (West Mesquite, Poteet, North Mesquite, & Mesquite High) and Horn is 6A. 

Stipend is $4,000 with a possible travel stipend depending on assignment

CDL Preferred

Teaching cert: Core

(We will place on a campus based off individual campus need)

Swim experience and/or prior coaching experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should be enthusiastic about working with students and contributing positively to a growing program.
