The New Orleans Lawn Tennis Club (NOLTC), currently celebrating its 150th Anniversary, is seeking a dedicated and energetic Assistant Tennis Professional to join our elite coaching staff. This is a rare opportunity to work at a world-class facility under the mentorship of an RSPA Master Professional.

The Opportunity We are looking for an active, on-court professional to manage a robust lesson book teaching at least 35 hours per week. With over 125 juniors and 200 adults currently enrolled in programming—and a consistent waiting list for lessons, this role offers immediate high-volume teaching.

  • Compensation: Base salary + 70% lesson commission split.
  • Earning Potential: $80,000+ annually.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality private and group instruction to members of all ages and skill levels.
  • Support the Director of Tennis in executing junior programs, club mixers, and tournaments.
  • Manage light administrative duties, including personal lesson billing and court reservations.
  • Maintain a punctual, reliable, and service-oriented presence.

Qualifications & Growth

  • Experience: A passion for teaching and a high level of play.
  • Certification: Must be RSPA certified or willing to achieve certification (we provide support to get you there).
  • Career Path: We pride ourselves on professional development; many of our former pros have transitioned from NOLTC into Director-level leadership roles.

New Orleans Lawn Tennis Club is a renovated paradise featuring 12 clay courts with new LED lighting, swimming pool, fitness center, and full-service food and beverage programs.
