As we kick off 2025, MyCoachingTree is proud to announce a major milestone in our journey to empower the coaching profession: our community has officially grown to more than 40,000 registered sports professionals. What started as a vision to provide better career tools for coaches has evolved into a thriving global network.

Growth Beyond Expectations

The speed at which the coaching community has embraced this platform has exceeded even our most optimistic internal projections. Reflecting on the rapid adoption, MyCoachingTree Co-Founder Phillip Engle noted that the company is moving faster than originally anticipated.

"We are thrilled to see that we’re currently well ahead of our original plan for getting coaches involved with the platform," said Engle. "The engagement we’re seeing confirms that there is a massive hunger among sports professionals for dedicated tools that actually understand the unique demands of their careers."

A Texas Foundation, A Global Reach

While MyCoachingTree’s roots are firmly planted in Austin, the platform’s impact is already being felt far beyond the Lone Star State. Despite a concentrated promotional effort focused primarily on Texas, the community has expanded organically across borders.

"It’s been incredible to watch the map light up," Engle remarked. "We have active coaches in all 50 states and even a growing presence internationally, which is especially surprising considering we’ve only actively promoted the platform in Texas so far. It proves that the challenges coaches face—whether they are in small-town high schools or international professional leagues—are universal."

The Evolution of AI: Investing in 2025

While 2025 marks a year of expansion, MyCoachingTree is not new to the world of artificial intelligence. We have spent years utilizing AI to streamline the recruitment process and help schools find the right candidates through our search services. However, this year represents a significant shift in our technical investment.

"We’ve been using AI for years to assist with job matching and candidate search, but we’re making a massive investment in 2025 to put that power directly into the hands of the coaches," Engle explained. "We are preparing to launch some truly amazing tools that will move beyond simple recruitment to assist with every facet of a coach’s daily life—from strategy to administration."
