General
The Campus Athletic Trainer shall assist the Sports Medicine Coordinator by coordinating coverage, treatment, rehabilitation and physician referrals for all athletic and designated UIL programs.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Plan & Implement a comprehensive athletic injury and illness prevention program for student athletes.
Attend practice sessions and athletic contests as assigned.
Establish and maintain effective communication with students, parents, medical & paramedical personnel, coaches, and other staff.
Provide treatment and rehabilitation to injured student athletes.
Fit injured athletes with specialized equipment and oversee its use.
Prepare athletes for games & practices by conducting evaluations & using tape, wraps, splints, braces, & other protective devices as needed.

The Junior high Campus Athletic Coordinators are responsible for overseeing and managing all duties specific to this position in addition to duties assigned by the Director of Athletics.
C. Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate and administer the Campus Junior high Athletic Program in accordance with AZLE ISD athletic objectives and policy.
Manage campus athletic budget.
Hire campus athletic personnel and make coaching assignments with approval of the Director of Athletics.
Coordinate all campus level athletic schedules.
Maintain a complete and accurate junior high athletic equipment inventory.
