Somerville High School is looking for a high energy, enthusiastic coach to help grow Yegua Athletics while serving as the Head Basketball Coach and an Asst. Football Coach. At this time the teaching field would depend on the applicant.
Somerville ISD has passed a $42M bond with plans for new athletic facilities (Turf Football Field / Field House and Renovated Gymnasium. Estimated date back in the gym: November 2026).
Somerville Independent School District is a rural, 2A school district located 30 miles southwest of College Station and 3 minutes from Lake Somerville, in beautiful Burleson County. We have approximately 540 students in our district which offers small class sizes. We are currently a two campus district: Elementary / Intermediate (K-7) and a High School (8-12) with High School athletics in the middle of the day and Junior High athletics at the end of the day.
