Harleton ISD is looking for a Head Volleyball Coach. The job had been filled, but the coach has decided to get out of education. This will be the first time Harleton has competed in a UIL district in its history. We played an outlaw schedule last year, and finished on a 9 game win streak. We had no seniors this year. We compete in 17-2A next year. Second sport is negotiable but could also be head softball. Potential teaching fields include HS SPED, 8th grade US History, JH math, JH ELA. Coordinating the defensive side of the ball. Practice scripts, scheduling, philosophy/scheme, defensive calling, opponent breakdown. Current teaching field right now is Govt/Econ (average class size 9-12 kids) or Tech Apps, conference, 2 athletic periods, and a coordinators period.
