Magnolia High School has an opening for a Defensive Assistant Coach (DL preferred) with a 2nd sport. Candidate must be passionate and energetic and be able to provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.   Defensive experience required.  2nd sport has flexibility (Soccer, Tennis, Track are possible).   Looking for someone who can be part of the team and can help develop skills and strategies in the sports assigned.   CDL preferred and/or willing to obtain one upon employment Core certifications preferred - but possible to have a PE or a SPED spot. Somerville High School is looking for a high energy, enthusiastic coach to help grow Yegua Athletics while serving as the Head Basketball Coach and an Asst. Football Coach. At this time the teaching field would depend on the applicant. Somerville ISD has passed a $42M bond with plans for new athletic facilities (Turf Football Field / Field House and Renovated Gymnasium. Estimated date back in the gym: November 2026).  Somerville Independent School District is a rural, 2A school district located 30 miles southwest of College Station and 3 minutes from Lake Somerville, in beautiful Burleson County.
