Assistant Football / Assistant Basketball / 3rd Sport

Teaching Field: JH/HS Math or Special Education

Henrietta ISD is seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven coach to join the Bearcat Athletic Department. This position includes coaching responsibilities in football, basketball, and baseball, along with a teaching assignment in either Junior High/High School Math or Special Education.

We are looking for coaches who are passionate about building relationships, developing character, and helping student-athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of the football program.

• Coach basketball as assigned.

• Support off-season strength and conditioning programs.

• Promote multi-sport participation and athlete development.

• Foster a positive culture centered on character, accountability, and teamwork.

• Collaborate with coaches, teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success.

• Teach assigned courses in JH/HS Math or Special Education.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain certification).

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Commitment to student-athlete development and educational excellence.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.

• Valid CDL (or ability to obtain CDL)
