Head Baseball Coach – Pflugerville Connally High School
Connally High School is seeking a Head Baseball Coach who is ready to lead, develop, and build a competitive program rooted in character, discipline, and relationships. We are looking for a highly motivated coach, that is a kid magnet who can create a positive culture, develop student-athletes on and off the field, and represent Connally High School and Pflugerville ISD with pride.
The Head Baseball Coach will be responsible for the overall direction of the Connally Baseball Program, including practice planning, player development, game preparation, staff leadership, offseason development, academic accountability, and program-wide communication. This position requires someone who is organized, energetic, and committed to building a program that reflects toughness, accountability, and class.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Lead and manage all aspects of the Lehman Baseball Program
Build a positive team culture based on discipline, effort, respect, and accountability
Develop student-athletes fundamentally, physically, mentally, and academically
Organize practices, offseason workouts, tryouts, team meetings, and game preparation
Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, campus administration, and athletic staff
Lead and develop assistant coaches within the program
Promote multi-sport participation and support the overall Connally Athletic Department
Maintain high expectations for sportsmanship, character, and academic success
Help grow interest, participation, and pride in Cougar Baseball
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid and Current Texas Educator Certificate
Previous high school or collegiate baseball coaching experience
Strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals, practice organization, and player development
Ability to lead young men and build meaningful relationships
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
