Head Girls Basketball - 2nd Sport

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Tom Bean High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall program of girls' basketball activities, in accordance with school and district policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, organize, and deliver the basketball program for the school year.
2. Develop and implement game strategies and position assignments.
3. Oversee the academic progress of student-athletes.
4. Organize and supervise a coaching staff.
5. Promote the basketball program within the school and the broader community.
6. Ensure the health and safety of all student-athletes.

Skills:

1. Proven experience as a basketball coach or similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of basketball game strategies and player development.
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
4. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
5. Strong organizational and administrative skills.
6. Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.

Certifications:

The ideal candidate must hold relevant certifications in coaching, sports management, or related fields. A certification in First Aid and CPR is also desirable.
