Thrall ISD – Strength & Conditioning Coordinator

Thrall ISD is seeking a highly qualified, dynamic leader to become the district’s first full-time Strength & Conditioning Coordinator. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a comprehensive, unified performance program for grades 6–12, girls and boys, in a growing 3A athletic program in Central Texas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or comparable certification

  • Minimum of 3 years of strength & conditioning program development and/or head coaching experience

  • Ability to serve as Head Track Coach (second sport possible if desired)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a unified strength & conditioning program for:

    • 6th Grade Pre-Athletics (Boys & Girls)

    • Middle School Athletics (Boys & Girls)

    • High School Athletics (Boys & Girls)

  • Oversee long-term athletic development model (6–12)

  • Coordinate offseason, in-season, and summer programming

  • Collaborate with head coaches across all sports

  • Build a culture of discipline, accountability, and competitive excellence
