Experienced Tennis Pro

Job Description

Experienced Tennis Pro – High Earning Potential & Flexibility

Keep 100% of what you charge for private lessons (minus court rental fees).

SBA Tennis is seeking an experienced tennis pro who values strong earning potential, flexible scheduling, and professional autonomy—while also benefiting from consistent work through an established, well-organized program.

This role prioritizes SBA-provided lessons and clinics, with ample opportunity to run your own private lessons during available court time.

What Makes This Role Different

SBA Tennis offers a rare hybrid coaching opportunity:

  • Primary priority: Coaching SBA-provided private lessons and group clinics
  • Additional opportunity: Run your own privately sourced lessons during available court time

For privately sourced lessons, you:

  • Set your own rates
  • Keep 100% of what you charge
  • Pay only applicable court rental fees
  • Use court time we provide

This structure allows experienced coaches to earn consistent income through SBA programs while also building and maintaining their own private client base.

Bonus Opportunities – Bring Your Players Into SBA Clinics

Coaches are eligible for bonuses when they bring players into SBA group clinics:

  • Referral bonuses for each student you bring into SBA-run group clinics
  • Ongoing earning potential as those students continue enrolling in future sessions
  • Ideal for coaches who already have private students and want to transition them into group programming

(Details provided during the interview process.)

Preferred Availability (Not Required)

Preference is given to coaches available for some or all of the following shifts:

  • Monday: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Thursday: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Friday: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Sunday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

All qualified applicants will be considered regardless of availability.

Coaching Responsibilities

  • Prioritize SBA-provided lessons, clinics, and after-school programs
  • Run privately sourced lessons during available court time
  • Deliver high-quality instruction using SBA curriculum or your own lesson plans
  • Take attendance and maintain a professional, safe, and positive learning environment

Compensation & Earnings

  • $50/hour for SBA private lessons and group clinics
  • Weekly pay
  • Additional earning potential through:
    • Privately sourced lessons (you keep 100%)
