Cypress Creek High School is seeking qualified coaching candidates for Varsity Linebackers or Corners  (best fit) with a second sport.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Texas Teacher Certification

• Teaching field(s): Open to all core, CTE, and elective areas (No Health, PE, or SPED)

• Bus certification required or willingness to obtain with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

• Knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures

• Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules

• Ability to instruct and supervise student-athletes

• Ability to pass the Department of Transportation alcohol and drug tests and annual physical

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Instruct and supervise student-athletes in assigned sport(s)

• Support the academic, athletic, and personal development of student-athletes

• Comply with campus, district, and UIL policies and procedures

• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and program activities

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Probationary/Term Contract: 187 days

COMPENSATION

• Pay Grade T60 (Teacher Classification) as approved by the Board of Trustees.
