Juniata College seeks an inspiring and visionary Director of Athletics to lead a dynamic Division III program that emphasizes student success, well-being, and institutional pride. Reporting directly to the President and serving on the President’s Cabinet, the Director will oversee 24 varsity sports, athletic communications, training services, strength and conditioning, and a dedicated team of approximately 60 staff members.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a vision for Juniata athletics that aligns with institutional goals for recruitment, retention, and graduation. Ensure compliance with NCAA and Landmark Conference regulations.
Resource Development: Collaborate with Advancement and Alumni Engagement to strengthen donor relationships and secure resources for facilities and programs.
Recruitment & Retention: Partner with Enrollment to support student-athlete recruitment and retention strategies that balance academic rigor and athletic success.
Collaboration: Cultivate strong relationships across campus and with community partners to enhance the student experience and institutional reputation.
Diversity & Inclusion: Lead efforts to advance equity and inclusion within athletics through recruitment, professional development, and student programming.
