Athletic Director/Head Football Coach

Van Vleck ISD plans to formally employ an Athletic Director/Head Football coach with projected determination dates of January 12, 2026 through March 1, 2026.

Van Vleck ISD is a 3A D2 school district, located in Matagorda County. We are seeking a highly-qualified, high energy, successful coach with Head Coaching experience or Coordinator experience, who holds a valid Texas Teacher's Certificate. 

Salary will be commensurate with experience.

In accordance with Van Vleck ISD's employment policy, prior to issuance of an employment contract, we will post for no fewer than 10 days all vacant or pending professional positions, including but not limited to, those currently being filled on an interim basis.

The Athletic Director/Head Football Coach will be employed on a two-year contract as a Non-Certified Administrator and will be responsible for overseeing and further developing the entire athletic program Grades 7-12, interacting with student/athletes, students, staff, administration, and community in a positive, professional manner.
