Job Description

Blue Ash, Ohio, Position Overview   The Girls Academy Director provides vision, leadership, technical excellence, and operational oversight for all aspects of the Cincinnati United SC Girls Academy (GA) program. This leader will shape the Academy’s player development philosophy, implement a consistent style of play and game model (alongside our Technical Team), and ensure that our players, coaches, and teams perform at the highest national level.   This is a strategic and hands-on role ideal for an experienced technical leader with a deep understanding of elite youth soccer, player pathways, and college recruitment.   Key Responsibilities   Leadership & Vision Champion the mission, vision, and core values of Cincinnati United SC. Develop and execute the strategic plan for the Girls Academy in alignment with the club’s long-term goals. Serve as a Head Coach for one Girls Academy team while overseeing all GA teams. Technical & Player Development Create a high-performance environment focused on developing individual players and teams  in accordance with our CUSC Key Player Qualities (KPQs). Ensure a unified style of play, player development curriculum, and consistent coaching methodology across all GA teams. Collaborate with the Technical Team to integrate the Girls Academy into the broader player pathway of Cincinnati United SC. Coaching & Staff Management Recruit, mentor, and evaluate GA coaching staff; promote ongoing coaching education and individual development plans. Provide regular performance feedback and lead by example through integrity, professionalism, and passion for the game. College Recruitment & Player Advancement Lead the club’s college recruitment strategy and maintain strong relationships with college coaches nationwide. Guide players and families through the college placement process with transparency and support. Operations & Communication Oversee all scheduling, staffing, and administrative operations (administrative personnel assistance provided by the club) related to the Girls Academy program. Communicate regularly with parents, players, coaches, and club leadership to ensure alignment and transparency. Represent Cincinnati United SC professionally at all GA events, showcases, and league functions. Minimum Qualifications   Minimum U.S. Soccer B License (or UEFA B equivalent). Leadership experience in a High-Performance Academy environment. 5+ years of elite youth coaching experience (U13–U19). Proven leadership , managing staff, implementing technical frameworks, and achieving development outcomes. Strong knowledge of college recruitment, NCAA processes, and player exposure strategies. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; adaptable to club systems and technology. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel for competitions . Preferred Qualifications   U.S. Soccer “A” License or equivalent. USSF Club Technical Leadership 2 (Academy Director License) or similar leadership education. 8+ years coaching across elite youth levels (U11–U19). Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Education, or Business. Bilingual (English/Spanish). Experience with video and performance analysis tools such as Hudl, Veo, EyeBall, or similar platforms. Experience as an Academy Director or Director of Coaching within a national-level club. Background as a Coach Educator within the U.S. Soccer licensing. Start date spring/summer of 2026.
