Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Valid Texas Teacher Certificate or appropriate out-of-state Teaching Certificate
Ten years of successful experience in coaching football at the high school level or above
Head Coaching Experience preferred or Experience in 5A or 6A as a offensive/defensive coordinator
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the high school athletic program in collaboration with middle school feeder programs
Monitor student-athlete academic performance and promote a philosophy of academic achievement
Establish performance criteria for competition and evaluate student-athletes' abilities regularly
Ensure compliance with UIL rules and monitor student eligibility for extracurricular participation
Promote a positive climate that fosters student participation in campus activities
Coordinate with the District athletic department on policies and procedures
Oversee the maintenance and inventory of athletic facilities and equipment
Job Description
