Coach and manage the assigned athletic program in accordance with UIL, district, and campus policies.
Model and enforce high standards of behavior, academics, and sportsmanship.
Plan and lead daily practices, game strategies, film study, and strength & conditioning.
Supervise and mentor student-athletes with a focus on academic success, attendance, and character development.
Build positive relationships with players, families, school staff, and community stakeholders.
Assist with recruiting, developing, and managing coaching staff under direction of the athletic coordinator.
Promote athletic participation across all levels (middle school to varsity) with a focus on program-building and vertical alignment.
Monitor inventory, equipment maintenance, and uniform management.
Collaborate with counselors, teachers, and administrators to track eligibility and support student-athletes.
Utilize platforms such as Hudl, SkyCoach, and MaxPreps for film breakdown, stats, and performance tracking.
Support campus duties and attend all staff meetings, parent events, and district athletic functions as required.
Texas Teaching Certification (core subject preferred)
Valid CDL or willingness to obtain
Minimum 3 years of high school coaching experience
Proven track record of success in developing athletes and building programs
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
