Varsity Assistant Baseball Pitching Coach – Grand Oaks High School (Spring, TX)

Position: Varsity Assistant Baseball Coach – Pitching Focus
Start Date: August 4, 2025

Grand Oaks High School is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable pitching coach to join our varsity baseball coaching staff. We’re looking for an individual who is passionate about developing pitchers, committed to team success, and eager to work with student-athletes to help them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and management of the pitching staff across all levels

• Implement effective training routines, mechanics instruction, and pitch management strategies

• Assist with daily practices, game preparation, and scouting reports

• Track and analyze pitching performance and progress throughout the season

• Foster a culture of discipline, accountability, and team-first mentality

• Communicate regularly with athletes, families, and staff

• Support academic achievement and character development of student-athletes

• Second sport could be Cross Country, if desired a second sport (optional)

• Follow Conroe ISD and UIL policies and guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous pitching or baseball coaching experience at the high school, collegiate, or professional level preferred

• Deep knowledge of pitching mechanics, arm care, and game strategy

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Ability to work well within a collaborative coaching environment

• Texas teaching certification in English or Social Studies/History

• CDL or willing to obtain within first semester

• Passion for mentoring and motivating high school athletes
