Head Girls Basketball Coach / Open Teaching Field Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team at Tom Bean High School as a Head Girls Basketball Coach with an open teaching field. This position requires a dynamic professional who can inspire and lead our girls' basketball team while also contributing to our academic curriculum.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement a comprehensive training program for the girls' basketball team. 2. Plan and supervise team practices, ensuring that all team members are effectively prepared for games and tournaments. 3. Foster a positive, supportive, and competitive environment that encourages player growth and development. 4. Collaborate with school staff and administrators to ensure the academic success of student-athletes. 5. Teach in an open field, contributing to our diverse academic curriculum. 6. Adhere to all school and district policies, as well as state and national regulations for high school athletics. 7. Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff about the progress and needs of the team and individual players.
