Assistant Coach

Job Description
The Assistant Coach supports the Head Coach in all aspects of team management, training, and development. This role involves helping to plan and conduct practices, mentoring athletes, analyzing performance, ensuring player safety, and promoting academic and personal growth. The Assistant Coach also assists with administrative duties, scouting, game strategy, and team logistics as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and conducting practices and training sessions
- Provide instruction and guidance to improve individual and team performance
- Support game-day operations and strategy implementation
- Foster positive relationships with athletes, parents, and school staff
- Help ensure team compliance with academic, eligibility, and conduct standards
- Participate in scouting, recruitment, and evaluation of players
- Uphold the values and goals of the athletic program
