Job Description
The Assistant Baseball Coach at Cistercian Preparatory School assists the Head Coach in all aspects of the baseball program, including practice planning, game preparation, and player development They are responsible for promoting a positive and competitive team environment. This role also involves assisting with transportation, managing equipment, and maintaining a high level of sportsmanship.
- Knowledge of Baseball: Strong understanding of the rules, strategies, and techniques of baseball.
- Coaching Experience: Previous coaching experience, ideally at the high school or college level.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with players, coaches, parents, and administrators.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time, organize tasks, and keep track of records.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Reliability and Commitment: Demonstrating a commitment to the program and the students.
