Aldine Davis, is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to serve as Linebackers coach and a classroom teacher in SPED ,Math or Science. This is a full time position combining athletic and academic responsibilities, ideal for individuals committed to students development both on and off the field and in the classroom.
- Serve as the Linebackers coach for the varsity team
- Assist with game planning, practice sessions, film, breakdown, and player development
- Support off-season strength and conditioning
- Promote academic success and character development in student athletes
- Collaborate with head coach and coaching staff on team goal and logistics
- Possible second sport
Teaching Responsibility
- Teach assigned math or science courses (based on certification)
- Communicate effectively with student, parents and colleagues
- Participate in professional development and school events
Qualification
- Valid Texas teaching certification in math or science(required)
- Experience coaching football at the high school level
- Knowledge of 6A athletic competition standard and student athlete development
- Strong organizational, Leadership, and communication skills
