Duncanville High School is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and student-centered leader to serve as the Head Boys Track & Field Coach. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of track and field across all event groups, demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, and have a proven track record of developing competitive athletes both on and off the track. This position requires collaboration with assistant coaches, staff, families, and administration to promote excellence, character, and commitment in alignment with the Duncanville ISD athletic culture.
Lead and manage all aspects of the boys track & field program (sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws, distance, and relays).
Design and implement a year-round training program, including offseason and preseason conditioning.
Provide mentorship, discipline, and academic support to student-athletes.
Develop student-athletes at the campus and middle school levels.
Manage assistant coaches and oversee event group training plans.
Coordinate meet schedules, travel logistics, and equipment needs.
Maintain accurate records (attendance, eligibility, physicals, etc.) and ensure full compliance with UIL and district policies.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and competitive team culture.
Work collaboratively with the Athletic Department and campus staff to support school-wide initiatives and student success.
