Pioneer Technology and Arts Academy (PTAA) in Greenville is seeking a passionate and dedicated Head Volleyball Coach to lead our growing program. PTAA has maintained a strong and committed athletic culture over the past 7 years and just completed our inaugural year in UIL 2A competition.
We are looking for a coach who is:
Energetic and enthusiastic about working with student-athletes
Knowledgeable in all aspects of volleyball, including strategy, skill development, and team building
Committed to fostering a positive, disciplined, and growth-oriented athletic environment
Passionate about mentoring youth and supporting their academic and personal development
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the high school volleyball program
Organize practices, game strategies, and off-season conditioning
Communicate effectively with players, parents, and administration
Maintain high expectations for behavior, effort, and academic performance
Serve as an assistant coach in either basketball or track, depending on qualifications and campus needs
Qualifications:
Valid Texas teaching certification or ability to become certified
Coaching experience at the middle school, high school, or higher level (head coaching experience preferred)
Must pass all background checks and meet UIL coaching requirements
