Morton ISD is looking for a qualified Head Softball Coach that can help grow and develop our softball program. We are in a community that loves softball and had more than 18 total girls in the 2nd year of the program this year. This presents a great opportunity for any coach looking to create and develop a program in their vision.
In addition to Softball, there will be Winter and Spring coaching assignments which could include Assistant Girls Basketball and Assistant Cross Country.
Candidates need to have a bachelor's degree with a valid teaching certificate and a CDL (or be willing to obtain their CDL within a year). The teaching assignments open include Social Studies (7-12), Technology (7-12), English (7-12), and Math (7-8).
Morton ISD operates on a 4 day work week (Monday- Thursday) and pays 90% of Teacher Incentive Allotment directly to teachers. Morton offers a highly competitive salary with and is a TEA Teachers Incentive Allotment (TIA) approved district.
TIA Designation for Morton ISD with an approved Designation on their current certificate will be allotted 90% of the TEA approved designation amounts. Current allotment for Morton ISD is Tier 4:
